How I stay focused in a world of distracting notifications from Teams and other tools with Ståle

As someone who thrives on dopamine, staying focused during his workday can be challenging. At the same time, Ståle Hansen succeeds as CEO, Principal Cloud Architect, MVP, speaker, coach, and delivers projects on time. Come and learn his lifehacks in Microsoft 365 for staying focused on PC, in Teams and on his phone. He will cover:

– Removing distractions from his phone, but still stay connected
– Deep work and focus using the clock app in Windows 11, it’s magical
– The one notification button in Teams that might change your life

Attendees will leave this session not only shocked by his distractive workday but also empowered with practical techniques they can implement immediately to enhance their focus and productivity.

Solved: The challenge of onboarding and involving mobile first users with Simon and Ståle

When working with customers around the world, MVPs Simon Skotheimsvik and Ståle Hansen hear about the following challenges from mobile-first users:

– It’s too difficult to log on to Microsoft 365 from my device
– Communication happens all over the place, such as SMS, Facebook, WhatsApp, and other platforms
– A sense of a disconnect from the rest of the organization, and not being informed

They now have an answer for all these scenarios. Best of all, if they succeed in onboarding all mobile-first users, organizations can more easily inform, involve, and use Copilot in meetings, get on top of the dialogue, and move processes to Teams and channels.

The answers are:

– Use QR code authentication to let mobile-first users sign in efficiently on mobile and shared devices
– Use Teams and Copilot to drive processes
– Use Viva Connections to inform and Viva Engage to connect with the rest of the organization
– Use Entra ID and Intune to handle security

Join this session to learn how you can solve shadow IT and streamline your mobile-first users today!

Women in Tech: Real Stories, Real Change with Nikki

A session for everyone who wants to build a more inclusive tech industry If you’ve ever assumed a Women in Tech panel wasn’t for you — this one is. Whether you’re a woman navigating the realities of a male-dominated industry, or a man who wants to be a better colleague, mentor, or ally, this session was built with you in mind. It is not a conversation about women for women — it is a space for everyone who cares about creating a more equitable, supportive, and empowering tech environment. Bringing together a group of experienced women from across the tech industry, this honest, story-driven session explores the real barriers women face in tech — from confidence gaps and stereotyping to workplace culture, trust in emerging technologies, and the painful moments that make people question whether they belong at all. Every panellist brings a turning point — a moment where things shifted, where support arrived, or where they found their voice.

Containers first, files next: a layered path to Copilot readiness in Microsoft 365 with Nikki

Microsoft 365 Copilot doesn’t create data risk. It reflects the risk already present in containers built for collaboration, not AI. File-level classification still matters. For most organisations, though, it takes too long to roll out and depends on user behaviours that are not yet in place. Container-level decisions (one per site, not one per document) are faster, simpler, and cover most of your estate. In this lightning session, we will look at how Purview container sensitivity labels, SharePoint Restricted Access Control (RAC), Restricted Content Discovery (RCD), and Microsoft 365 Archive work together as a layered model that sits alongside file-level controls, not in place of them. You will leave with a four-pattern framework and one question that turns theory into Monday morning decisions. By the end of this session, you will:
1. See why container-level decisions are the fastest route to reducing Copilot oversharing
2. Understand how labels, RAC, RCD, and Archive form a layered model that complements file-level controls
3. Take home a four-pattern framework for matching controls to container intent
4. Leave with one question that helps your organisation prioritise without waiting for perfect classification
5. Treat Copilot readiness as design, not as a clean-up project
